Sosoli Talawadua

Sosoli Talawadua was one of the standout performers for Waikato as the team made the Final of the 2014 Women’s Provincial Championship.

Talawadua made her debut for Waikato in 2013, featuring in every match. Able to play at hooker, she showed her versatility and utility as a squad member when she appeared at tighthead prop against Wellington and was so dominant in the position that she was selected there eight times in the 2014 season and scored her first first-class try against Hawke’s Bay. Talawadua grew up in Wanganui before shifting north to Waikato.
